Montague respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your data.
This Privacy Notice explains how and why the parent entity of Montague, including each of its operating entities in the United Kingdom (also referred to as “Montague”, “we”, “our” and “us”) collects and processes your data when you browse our website or when you complete a web form expressing your interest in our services or when you complete the registration process to place your child at a Montague nursery centre (referred to in this Privacy Notice as “you”).
You should read this Privacy Notice to know what we do with your data. This Privacy Notice supplements other privacy notices and policies we may make available to you occasionally and is not intended to override them.
This Privacy Notice does not form part of any contract you may have with us including contracts under which we provide childcare services to you.
What Personal Data Do We Collect?
Personal data is information that identifies you or could identify you. In the course of our business, we are required to collect many different types of personal data about you and, if we provide you with childcare services, about you and your child. We cannot respond to your enquiry or request for information or manage our relationship with you and to provide you with childcare services without your or your child’s personal data. Where we don’t need your or your child’s personal data, we will make this clear, for instance we will explain if any data fields in our enquiry or enrolment forms are optional and can be left blank.

If any of the personal data you have given to us changes, such as your contact details, please inform us without delay by contacting the nursery centre where your child is enrolled. Please always check first whether there are any available self-help tools to correct the personal data we process about you.

The information we collect might be about you, your preferences, or your device, and it is mainly used to make the site work as you expect it to. It doesn't usually directly identify you but can give you a more personalised web experience. We allow some of our carefully chosen partners, like Google, to place cookies on our site. This helps us understand how our visitors use the website so we can improve your experience.
What Personal Data Do We Use?
We use your personal data for all the things you would expect like:

Inside the Montague group
We are part of the Montague group of companies. Therefore, we will need to share your personal data with other companies in the Montague group for our general business, for management purposes, for managing our nursery centres, incidents and accident reporting, authorisations/approvals with relevant decision makers, parental reporting and where systems and services are provided on a shared basis.
Outside the Montague group
We engage service providers or partners to manage or support certain aspects of our business operations on our behalf, so w might share your info with our service providers who keep our systems running smoothly and provide us with services like managing our inboxes and customer database. If the law required, we might also share your data with regulators.
Keeping your data safe and sound
We employ physical, electronic and managerial control procedures to safeguard and prevent unauthorised access, accidental loss, destruction or damage of your personal data. We choose these safeguards based on the sensitivity of the personal data that we collect, process and store and the current state of technology. Our outsourced service providers who support our operations are also vetted to ensure that they have appropriate technical and organisational measures in place to protect your personal data.
How long do we keep your personal data for?
